I will post a picture showing the beam pattern of the three different LED's along with the specs a bit later on.

I've run in to a major problem. I can't beleive I mis-placed the mcpcb's for the NCSW119T and have been desperately looking for them while doing assembly of the module without the LED. Been tearing up the house....... Please give me some time to locate the mcpcb's. I am sorry about mis-palcing the mcpcb's.

I have made 3 modules so you can see the difference in the beam pattern. Left to right, very low VF Rebel rated at 120 lumens, NCSW119T rated at 160 lumens and the XP-G R5 rated at around 139 lumens. As you can see the XP-G produces a larger beam pattern where are the Rebel and 119 produce a nice tight beam. Even though the low VF Rebel is rated at only 120 lumens, its blowing the XP-G R5 out of the water. I do have the mcpcb's for both LED's but the XP-G batch I have seems to be a bad batch as the tint is green :( I have some that will arrive next week that will have a pure white tint and hopefully will be from a brightness bin above the R5. I know this has dragged on for some time as there were problems after problems. If you can't wait, I can ship out the Rebel version right away. Let me know.

Just in case I can't find the mcpcb's for the NCSW119T, I have re-ordered a batch on last Friday the 19th. It should take 10 days. In the meantime I am still looking through every box/closet/desk drawer in my house.

I'm glad you told me about these, Mike, I hadn't seen them. I guess I should check this forum more often instead of hanging around on CPF... :?

I wonder how you do to take such power out of an AA, you're a light magician I suppose! 8)

The design is very nice, I xould imagine such a light taking and 18650 and sporting a Luminus emitter to give maximum brightness with a very floody beam...

Yeah, you're right, let's wait for this one in anticipation first!!!
