Delta, that is the old Playmates Phaser, right? I'm just curious. I sold mine on Ebay for a fair chunk of money. I went to a Star Trek convention once. I'll never do that again!!! There are crazy Star Trek fan in the world.

Paladin,

Some one has done it, modifed the AA phaser with a HIGH INTENCITY green or red laser its shoots a high beam shot that can be seen 30 feet away..I still looking for information on these laser emmitting diods.... The light is most impressive.

As soon a I get more information I will pass it on

Hey everybody,
Early this Year I found this light in mint condition, box & instructions.
I have successfully converted the Captains Light to a reverse polarity LED
form Ever LED.

I am charging now when its finished I will have some beam shots.
When I Changed out the bulb, the run time came to 6hrs 20 mim.
I would say not bad for a 45 year old relic :o
