yup, the optics are just mind blowing, am really impressed with it as a whole, given its powered by an AA only, just amazing! The ME II is no slouch either and its my EDC with the ME III on my key chain.
i have pitted it against 2 other aspheric throwers, one an osram 6 die and the other a dereelight dbs v2 with an aspheric lens. i dont know how Mike did it, but it out throws them both by a fair bit. i cant wait to see what he does with the new Luminus leds, sst-50/90....
